Members build infrastructure, from roads, bridges, and transit to schools and skyscrapers. They are certified to install rainwater catchment systems and trained to build water and sewer systems. Iron workers are employed in four related segments:
#1 Structural iron worker: Assembles, erects, and installs fabricated iron parts to form the skeleton of industrial, commercial, and large residential buildings. #2 Reinforcing ironworker: Fabricates and places steel bars in concrete forms to reinforce structures such as buildings, freeways, bridges, drainage channels, and commercial structures.
#3 Ornamental iron worker: Installs metal stairways, catwalks, gratings, iron ladders, and doors in the construction of large commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.
#4 Rigger and machine mover: Loads, unloads,
and moves machinery equipment in the construction and maintenance of industrial plants and precast concrete structures.

Painting includes waterproofing and the preparation of surfaces and the applications of paint, varnish, enamel, lacquer, and similar materials to wood, metal, and masonry interior and exterior surfaces. Paint may be applied with a brush, spray gun, or roller.
Drywall finishing includes taping of drywall. Tools include bazooka, trowels, and various hand tools.
Glazing includes installation of interior and exterior storefront, ribbon wall, curtain wall, skylights, glass handrails, and all architectural panel systems. Requires the use of hand tools, drills, and metal saws.
Requires blueprint reading, layout, rigging, and handling glass of all sizes. Work is at various heights on installation.

Tradeshow and Sign Crafts is a dedicated to advancing the standards of Tradeshow Decorating & Installing, Exhibit Building, Sign Production & Installing and Printing in Southern California.
Floorlaying includes all soft flooring, VCT, sheet vinyl, carpet, rubber flooring, all laminate systems, epoxy, underlayment, and synthetic turf.

The principle function of a sprinkler fitter is the installation of fire protection systems. This includes underground supply piping, which is connected to an integrated overhead piping system for suppression of fire. Safety is first and foremost, therefore you will be trained in the care and proper use of tools and equipment. These will range from pipe wrenches and pipe threading machines
to welding equipment and personnel lifts.
